TS Bus Engulfed in Flames: All 30 Passengers are Safe
This was a narrow life escape for almost the 30 passengers of the burning luxury bus. As per some reports, this TS Luxury Bus Fire Accident was caused by a short circuit that happened inside the bus. The burning bus happened on the side of a road close to 50 kilometers from the city of Hyderabad in Telangana. It was the driver of the luxury bus who alerted the thirty people on board. Reportedly during the journey from Warangal to Hyderabad, the bus driver spotted a spark in the engine. He did not waste any time as he immediately stopped the bus. He told all the passengers to get off the bus.
Within a matter of few minutes’ time, the luxury bus was up in flames. Had the driver of the luxury bus not asked the passengers to alight, the lives of 30 people would have been in danger. The entire bus that was engulfed in flames got destroyed completely. However, all the passengers were safe as they were all able to escape in a fast manner.
The State of Telangana Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy has ordered an inquiry into the fire accident of the luxury bus. The TS State Transport Minister has also asked for a detailed report from the transport officials as he asserted that another such incident must not happen. A diesel pipe burst and another time the battery caught fire due to a short circuit in other bus fire accidents. At times when fire accidents broke out in the busses of various states, it was either the passengers or drivers who alerted all.
