Manhunt 2 has players assume the role of Daniel Lamb, a scientist convicted of criminal insanity who becomes entangled in a web of deception and brutality. Lamb ensures his freedom from prison by employing a variety of merciless tactics supposedly made more intuitive through Wii's motion controls.
The ESRB gave Manhunt 2 an initial rating of Adults Only earlier in the year - a rating that Sony and Nintendo would not allow on their platforms. Some European nations also banned distribution of the game. Rockstar Games later revised Manhunt 2 and garnered a new ESRB rating of M for Mature. Although the situation in Europe remains largely undecided, the game will go on sale in North America on October 31.
