The official Super Smash Bros. Brawl Web site detailed the new version of the Pokemon Stadium stage along with Mario's special moves in a double update today.
Pokemon Stadium 2, as Director Masahiro Sakurai referred to the stage, will feature guest Pokemon in the ever-shifting background. This version of the field will contain four new alternate terrains - Electric, Ground, Flying and Ice - in addition to the basic stage layout. The type of terrain will affect battles. For instance, Ice will cause the stage to be slippery whereas Flying will boost the jump ability of all characters.

Smash Bros. Dojo!! also revealed Mario's new Down special move: F.L.U.D.D. GameCube owners who played Super Mario Sunshine will recognize F.L.U.D.D. as the water pack Mario used to clean up Isle Delfino.
"It does absolutely no damage - it's just for sending opponents great distances," Sakurai commented. "You can even charge it up while shielding. It's best used in critical moments." Sakurai confirmed that Mario's previous Down special move, Mario Tornado, is present in Brawl. He hinted, however, that the move might have become a normal attack.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is expected to be released in the Americas on December 3. No specific release date has been provided for other territories.
