According to In-Store Marketing Institute, retailer Toys 'R Us is planning to give out 25,000 Wii consoles as part of a promotion related to NBC's Deal or No Deal game show. To participate in the contest, players need to acquire game pieces from Toys 'R Us' weekly circulars between October 1 and October 28 and use them at any location. The "Deal" game piece awards 10% off any store item, while the "No Deal" game piece offers either a 5% discount off one item or a chance at winning the grand prize of $1 million and a trip to Las Vegas to attend the Deal or No Deal show, as well as one of 25,000 Wii consoles. New game pieces can be acquired each week. In-Store Marketing Institute did not specify how and at what time the Wii consoles will be awarded to entrants. The full article can be found here. The Wiire will keep you updated. |
