Nintendo President Satoru Iwata recently unveiled pricing details for Wii's Virtual Console service at the company's media showing.
According to Iwata, 30 Virtual Console titles will be available on launch day, from Nintendo and its various partners, with 60 expected on the service before the end of the year. Additionally, 10 new classic titles are expected to be made available every month starting in January. Iwata also revealed that a few MSX titles will join Sega Genesis and TurboGrafx/PC-Engine games on Virtual Console.
As for pricing, Iwata stated Famicom games will cost 500 Yen; Super Famicom, 800 Yen and Nintendo 64 titles, 1000 Yen. Gamers may purchase downloadable titles either through credit card or a Wii points card, though specific details about the latter were not presented at this time.
