Yuke's Announces New WiiWare Racing Title

When you think of the Japanese developer Yuke's, if anything at all, you would normally think of their line of wrestling titles they have been releasing. Despite the consistent releasing of these games, Yuke's is looking coming up with something a little different on WiiWare.

Yuke's is developing the game BPM Racing, and it is what they call a rhythm racing game. The game will be one in which players will race one another while following the soundtrack which will enable players to better drive and handle their cars. This game sounds as if it will be somewhat similar to Amplitude, except in a more competitive multiplayer sense. Considering Amplitude was an incredibly influential rhythm game, I think this is something to keep and eye on.

Yuke's is looking for a 2009 release.
