Kid Icarus Almost Confirmed

IGN basically held Miyamoto at gunpoint yesterday. They wasted no time in asking Miyamoto about Zelda, Wii's storage solution, or Mario and Pikmin. Naturally, we've been hearing from IGN that Kid Icarus would finally be unveiled at E3 this year. Alas, we got nothing. So, to maybe make up for this unfortunate turn of events, IGN questioned Miyamoto on the topic.

"Yeah, I'm not the producer of any Kid Icarus titles," Miyamoto said. "There are some people who have some different ideas, but since I'm not the producer I can't comment on anything." He went onto say, "I'm not the producer of any Kid Icarus game, so I really can't say anything. Sorry."

I'm sure Miyamoto went to bed last night with a slick look on his face. Stay tuned to The Wiire for further updates on Kid Icarus shennanigans!
