No Earthbound in Development

Miyamoto might have spilled the beans on other properties here or there after Nintendo's E3 press conference, and he may even be friends with Mr. Itoi, Earthbound creator. So, this must mean Earthbound is right around the corner, right? Wrong!

In an almost nervous way, as if he were being held at gunpoint by IGN, Miyamoto said "There really isn't anything to talk about right now so I don't know how to reply...I am friends with Mr. Itoi and meet with him several times a year. If we got together and decided we wanted to make something, it wouldn't take too long for him to start working on something."

What'd you expect Miyamoto to say? I mean, they did bring Kid Icarus back! ...Right?
