Wii Owners Finally Will Get An RPG

Marvelous Entertainment, the widely popular publisher in Japan, is making itself busy with already announced Little King's Story, and now a new RPG, Arc Rise Fantasia.

Marvelous Entertainment has teamed up with Image Epoch (those behind Luminous Arc, pictured above) to release one of the first traditional RPGs to come out for the Wii in a seemingly long time. Sadly, the game was only announced (at the time of writing) in Japan, leaving North American fans hungering for their share of RPG greatness.

The game itself is a rather standard RPG styled plot with a lot of fantasy mixed in. Dragons have been terrorizing the world, and contaminating things with their poison. Players will take the role of Bright, a mercenary, and Alse, a royal prince. While fighting the dragons they also run into Ryphia, a magician who uses storms of magic. Together the trio will attempt to kill the dragon horde, before their capital city is destroyed.

There is no release date for the Japanese version, and if you live in North America, pray for an announcement soon.
