Has Guitar Hero Found a Wii Storage Solution? |
| By Andrew Clark / June 23, 2008 |
![]() Good news is on the way for Wii users who have filled the tiny internal memory full of Wii Shop goodness. Downloadable content for Guitar Hero World Tour has been confirmed, and there is good news if there's no more room for it on your Wii's flash drive. Not only can you download and then store the content on an SD card, WiiFanBoy reports that players will be able to play songs directly from the SD card. This will do away with tedious memory management and the unneeded hassle of transfering content back and forth from the Wii to the SD card. This completely goes against rumors circulating the interwebs about how the transfer rate is too slow to run anything directly off of an SD card. It will be interesting to see how the downloadable content plays out, and to hope that we do not get the short end of the stick again. |
