EA and Hasbro have announced Hasbro Family Game Night, based on the board game company's Family Game Night initiative, which recommends people take time out of their busy schedules to sit down to a classic board game with the family. Now you can do the same with the family Wii, as the video game includes old favorites like Battleship, Yahtzee, Boggle, Connect Four, and Sorry!, as well as new versions such as Sorry! Sliders, Connect Four Power Chips, Boggle Portal Cubes, Reverse Yahtzee, and Battleship Barrage.
In addition to all the music and animations you can't get with a board game, the Wii game also offers a party mode and customizable game rooms, with spaces for trophies, themed furniture and decorations. The game is hosted by Mr. Potato Head.
This honestly sounds like a great addition to any living room or Wii party. It requires no setup or cleanup, and is a great value compared to buying all the games separately. Look for it this fall.
