The giant Nintendo World Store in New York City, essentially the east coast's headquarters for all things Nintendo, has played host to a number of exclusive events and promotions, but apparently having Wii Fit on the shelves will not be among them.
According to Jason Cipriano at MTV Multiplayer, the store stopped taking pre-orders last Tuesday. Amazon, Gamestop, and Wal-Mart all did the same thing before that. Pretty impressive, considering the game still isn't even out yet.
For those who like to live dangerously and buy products without a guarantee of their availability, we wish you happy hunting on Monday.
