MySims Goes Medieval

by Andrew Clark (2008-05-15)

After the success (2.8 million units sold) of the first installation of this newfound franchise, EA plans on continuing the tradition, and take it to new heights with MySims Kingdom. Often enjoyed most for it's hybrid qualities, a mix of The Sims and Animal Cross, MySims Kingdom looks to use all of the unique feel of the previous MySims, and focus more on story content. The story itself takes place in medievel times, and places you in the service of a certain King Roland.

King Roland is upset because his kingdom is no longer as prestigious as in the past, and recruits you to travel around to foreign lands, spreading the word about the greatness of Roland's kingdom. Some of the new features will include new building options, with new buildable structures like bridges, as well as new tasks that can be performed, mostly related to medieval activities. Look for this to release sometime this fall.
