Joystiq, through WiiFanboy, discovered that Dr. Mario will be giving check-ups on the WiiWare platform, aptly renamed Dr. Mario Online. The title is priced at 1000 Wii Points (10 dollars U.S.). The game will obviously support Wii-Fi play, but beyond that little nugget of "duh" we're in the dark. Like the rest of WiiWare's lineup, Dr. Mario Online's release date remains a mystery.
Considering the popularity of this franchise, however, you can be sure that we'll keep our ears to the ground for more information.
