Developer Tragnarion Studios announced today that Nintendo has approved
the company as an officially licensed Wii developer. To celebrate, the
studio will bring a fresh version of its upcoming DS puzzler, Doodle
Hex, to the Wii.

"Now that we are releasing in May 2008 our Nintendo DS title 'Doodle Hex', we are really looking forward to work with our recently acquired Wii License, so that we can bring the Doodle Hex saga to this amazing platform," Ricardo Carretero, lead designer of Doodle Hex, commented. "We've been working on preparing some really innovative projects which will make full use of the Wii's unique capabilities."
In Doodle Hex, players will attend the College of Runes, where students hailing from all across the cosmos gather to study the arts of Rune Lore. Between classes, the students will gather in secrecy and challenge each other's magical prowess in the Doodler's Club.
