The latest issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu has revealed the first microtransactions for Japan's WiiWare service: an add-on pack for developer Genki's puzzler launch title LONPOS, and extensions to Namco Bandai's word puzzle title Mojipittan.
While the content and release date of the LONPOS expansion remain unknown, Genki confirmed that the first add-on pack will drop for 500 Wii points - half of the game's 1,000 Wii Points price tag.
The microtransactions for Mojipittan will involve downloading new boards and words, but Namco Bandai has not specified a price or release date.
WiiWare is planned to go live in Japan on March 25 and in North America on May 12.
